Data-Loop Ltd. was established in 1966 by the present Managing Director, Douglas Howard Lord, to represent British manufacturers of specialised electronic equipment in the Eastern Bloc countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and later China. Nicholas Roger Lord joined the company in 1982 and is currently the Marketing Director and Company Secretary.
From 1966 until 1990, Data-Loop sold to industry and research centres such products as data-loggers, XY plotters, transient waveform recorders, teletype machines, LCR bridges, Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), PCB assembly equipment, electrical calibrators and multimeters.
In the wake of the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, our market focus changed to improvements in the infrastructure of the Central and Eastern European countries looking forward to European Union membership.
This comprised of improvements in air quality, noise control, road traffic management and border security.
As representative and distributor for various British, U.S. and other European manufacturers, Data-Loop provides full customer support, from initial discussions on specific technical requirements, through to completion of contract and after-sales service. On-site installation and training, either locally or in the U.K., is regularly arranged as required.
